Corrections and questions go to the same place — editor@nevadacontractorlicense.com.
We read everything that arrives. What we can usefully do with it depends a lot on what it is.
Corrections — please send these
If a page here states a rule, a fee or a date incorrectly, tell us and say which page. A correction gets re-checked against the primary source, the page is fixed, and its Last checked date is updated. This is the most valuable mail we get, and it is the reason the address is published rather than buried.
If you can point at the statute, the regulation or the Board publication that says otherwise, that speeds things up considerably — but a plain “this looks wrong” is welcome too.
Questions about the site
Anything about how the site works, how we check facts, or how we are funded: ask. The short answers are on how this site works and in the affiliate disclosure.
What we cannot help with
We are not affiliated with the Nevada State Contractors Board or any state agency, and we cannot:
- check, expedite, look up or intervene in your license application;
- tell you which license you need, or whether your circumstances qualify;
- advise on a contract, a dispute, a complaint or a penalty;
- accept or forward anything that has to be filed with the Board.
For any of those, the Board is the right first stop, and for advice about your own position you need someone qualified to give it — see what we cannot advise on.
Response times
We aim to reply to corrections quickly because they affect what readers see; other mail may take longer. We do not have a phone line.
